Rodney Howes

Born in Coventry 1948. Studied Fine Art Painting at the Ulster College of Art & Design 1965-1969. Completed a Post Graduate, Art Teachers' Certificate course at the University of S.Wales in 1970

For 39 years he  worked as an Art Teacher. Now retired and a full time ARTIST!

Rodney’s paintings are influenced by the landscape and its many variations of mood and colour. He works Largely with oil, strong fluent brush strokes bringing out the rigor and movement of the landscape. Rodney is a member of the Arts Society of Ulster and the Pastel Society of Ireland.
